Tavistock 3 Rok FC 1 TAVISTOCK made hard work of their visitors after totally dominating the first half of this game. Blatchford was running riot down the right hand side and carved out several chances for a rampant Tavistock side, but it took 20 minutes for the breakthrough when Blatchford was upended in the penalty area after a mazy run. He calmly slotted past the visitors? keeper. Tavistock kept the pressure on and within ten minutes scored again. Blatchford?s run and cross from the right was met by Yendell to tap in from two yards. Instead of being 2-0 at the interval Rok hit back with their only chance of the half from the penalty spot through Blyth. The visitors were spurred on by the goal and took the game to Tavistock in the second period. In the opening 20 minutes they put great pressure on the Tavistock back line, but Hodge and Southcott in the heart of Tavistock?s defence stayed solid. They slowly started to dominate again and in the 75th minute Blatchford?s cross fell to Brockington 12 yards out to smash into the bottom corner, to give Tavistock the points.
