KELLY College pupil Hannah Bryars became the under 14s British foil champion at the weekend — the 13-year-old took the title at the British Fencing Championships held in Perth in Scotland beating 64 other regional finalists.
Seeded one after taking part in two pools, she won all her fights, fencing all day from 10.30am to 7.30pm.
Hannah won £100 in prize money which she will put towards specialist equipment needed for a cadet international competition in which she will be taking part later this year. Hannah is already the South West champion for the third year running.
