WEST Devon Volunteer Centre will celebrate the work of volunteers this month, by marking their own contribution to the community.

The centre wants to hear from volunteers in the area, as well as voluntary and community groups and is offering a chance to win a summer hamper in celebration of volunteering in West Devon.

Groups and individuals are asked to tell the centre in 30 words or less, what volunteering means to them and why they like to participate.

The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and notified at the end of June.
