ACTIVITIES for older youngsters are being arranged next week as part of the OCRA half-term holiday activities programme. A street dance workshop is being held in Parklands Dance Studio on Tuesday, May 30, between 3-4.30pm, and horse-riding on Dartmoor takes place on Wednesday, May 31. Riders will meet at the College gates at 11.30am and return at 2pm. These activities are aimed at eleven to sixteen-year-olds. A full range of activies are also running for six to thirteen-year-olds throughout next week. There will be a World Cup football camp with skills coaching, matches and competitions on Wednesday, May 31; a tennis day on Thursday, June 1, and a fun cricket camp on Friday, June 2. All the activities run from 10am-3pm at Parklands Leisure Centre and will incur a charge. Places for all the activities are limited, so to pre-book a space for your child, fill in one of the booking forms or contact OCRA on 01837 54546. OCRA sports and arts sessions are also being held in Okehampton during the week and outreach sessions will be run in Bridestowe and Hatherleigh on Friday, June 2.
