HUNDREDS of spectators, riders, ponies, horses and dogs ? and three alpacas ? turned up at Hernspitt Farm, Meavy, on Sunday for the village?s best-ever horse show, gymkhana and dog show. It boasted record entries in most classes and raised more than £2,000 for the Yelverton and district NSPCC. In the horse show the show champion was Sara Moyse on Raimond II with Katie Spry on Evita as reserve champion. In the gymkhana, the lead rein winner was Neisha Cole on Princess; Under 14 winner Lucy Scott on Bod and veteran winner Andrea Uglow on Ginger Ninja.
