GREGORY Distribution Ltd in North Tawton has acquired the business, assets and goodwill of Interoute Transport Services Ltd.

Interoute, based at Thame, Oxfordshire, went into administration on May 17. Their leased site includes a 120,000 sq ft warehouse.

The acquisitions provides job security for those employees who have remained with the former Interoute business, and Gregory Distribution will be transferring 27 employees.

All the key customers have been retained as part of the transaction. The operation has a very strong fit with Gregory's existing sites, which include transport operations at Bicester, Minworth and Milton Keynes.
