Okehampton U11s 42
Budes U11s 7
The final game of the season saw Okehampton play some superb flowing rugby with slick handling from the backs leading to six excellent team tries being scored. Bude travelled with ten players and thanks must go to Jake Lawson and Jordan Drew who played for the opposition.
The Okes started brightly and immediately put the ball through the hands to put Liam Pyle over for a try which was converted by Daniel Thorne.
Jack Raymond took advantage of a quick tap penalty to force his way over for the second try converted by Liam Pyle.
Great running fom Liam set up Finn Fallon - Clarke to score the third try converted by Daniel Thorne.
After the break Bude came back positively and scored a converted try but this comeback was short lived as the forwards took control with Joe Mawle and Patrick Beacom driving strongly to set up quick ball for scrum half Tom Bayley to set the backs in motion.
Daniel Thorne fielded a kick in his own 22 and cut through the opposition with the ball then going through the hands of all the backs to find Finn Fallon-Clarke on the wing to finish off a fantastic team try converted by Liam Pyle. Further slick handling from both forwards and backs lead to Daniel Thorne scoring a try which he converted. The fifth try was scored by Finn Fallon-Clarke with a good run and drive over which was a fitting send off for his final game for the team. Daniel Thorne converted.
Joe Mawle scored the final try with a strong run down the wing converted by Liam Pyle.
Congratulations must go to the whole team after a super performance and welcome to new player William who had his first game for the team.
