STAFF and users of Tor Support Services have been celebrating the news that Children in Need has given them a grant to ensure the sustainability of the service for the next three years.
TSS is a counselling service based at Okehampton College's community centre, and works largely with children and young people from across the area.
Neil Sproats, a teacher at the college and a trustee for TSS, said: 'The service has a huge positive impact upon vulnerable people in our area and this grant is vitally important in protecting this support. We are all delighted that this valuable work has been recognised by Children In Need.'
The grant supports funding already provided by Okehampton United Charity and the Ladies' Circle.
