LYDFORD Primary School has sent more than double last year?s number of shoe boxes to the Love-in-a-Box appeal. The appeal, run by charity Mustard Seed Relief Missions, delivers shoe boxes of gifts to children in Croatia, Bosnia, Ukraine and Romania. The boxes contain items ranging from toys, pencils, crayons, hats, gloves, scarves and jewellery to toiletries. Last year Lydford staff, pupils and parents sent 27 boxes, but this year, ?amazing support? had seen this more than double to more than 60, a school spokesperson said.
