OLLIE Piper, a fifth-former at Mount House School has won the Under-13 South of England Modern Triathlon Championship.

Representing Mount House for the first time, Ollie won the title at Millfield School against stiff competition, and has thus qualified for the national finals which will be held at Birmingham in November.

The modern triathlon consists of three events, shooting, swimming and running.

Ollie's combined score of 2,971 was the highest score in the South of England.
