GREAT gardens in and around Chagford will be open to the public this weekend as part of a popular event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.
The Chagford committee of Macmillan Cancer Relief have arranged the open day for this Sunday, June 20, from 11am to 6pm, which will feature ten gardens ranging from large woodland, to town and small courtyard.
Entry, to include all the gardens, will be by programme only, which is £4 per person and includes a map and a description of each garden. No dogs other than guide dogs.
Programmes can be bought in advance from Youd?s newsagents in Chagford Square or on the day from the gardens.
Light lunches will be available at Endecott House from noon to 2pm and home-made cream teas and cakes at Lydstone Court Yard in Chagford Square from 3pm to 5pm.
