FORMER front man for Squeeze, Glenn Tilbrook will present his acoustic evening show at The Wharf, Tavistock tomorrow (Friday). For 25 years, Glenn sang, played lead guitar and wrote music for Squeeze, the renowned English rock music group of the '80's, which disbanded in 1999. Glenn went on to gain international recognition, releasing successful albums and carrying out numerous sell-out tours as a solo artiste. Glenn's live shows radiate humour and fun as well as featuring his skilful guitar playing and powerful, tenor voice. Amusing anecdotes and cheerful banter with his audience are other highlights of his unique show. Squeeze classics, such as 'Up the Junction', 'Cool for Cats' and 'Black Coffee in Bed' are delivered with typical Tilbrook style and feeling. Recently, Glenn's first demo CD, 'The Past Has Been Bottled/East Side Story', the first of five releases, went on sale. A 'must' for all rock music fans, the amazing acoustic evening with Glenn Tilbrook will be at The Wharf at 8pm. Tickets cost £13.50 in advance and £15 at the door. The bar and barbecue will be available from 7pm. Box office: 01822 611166.
