THE Crediton and District Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support recently held collections in Crediton and Okehampton. The total raised by the two collections was £755.27.  The committee is very grateful for the generosity of the people of Crediton and Okehampton. Members would also like to thank the volunteers who gave up their time to collect for the charity.  New volunteer collectors are always welcome; contact Belinda Petersen, Chairman on 01363 85118. The money raised will go towards making life easier for people who are suffering from cancer and for their families. Macmillan Cancer Support funds a large number of nurses and other health professionals as well as providing information and support services.
