CASH grants of up to £500 are on offer to arts groups within West Devon ? but applications need to be in within the next few weeks. The grants are available from West Devon Borough Council and are usually given to community organisations whose projects benefit a wide range of people within the borough. The aim of the grants is to support projects which improve the quality, range and impact of the arts in West Devon, increase access to the arts and encourage people to take part. Completed applications, which must be in advance of projects, not for retrospective support, must be received by the borough council?s Kilworthy Park offices by 9am on June 27 ? a decision should be made within six weeks.
