A SPECIALIST SoundField system is now in place at Lamerton Primary School thanks to donations from the Mary Budding Trust, Tavistock Rotary Club and Tavistock Lions.

The equipment costs £1,500 and is now in place to help children with severe hearing loss.

The school has two classrooms, with a system already set up in one by Devon County Council, and now thanks to the donations, the second has been installed.
