THE work of the Museum of Dartmoor Life and its tourist information centre have received a boost from Okehampton Town Council. The council has donated £3,500 to the museum, and a further £1,500 to benefit the tourist information centre. Mayor Cllr Paul Vachon and councillors visited the museum to present the cheque and chat with staff and volunteers about the museum and information centre.
