THREE West Devon residents graduated at a ceremony at Crelake Sheltered Housing Scheme in Tavistock last Friday.
Mike Bird from Crelake, Tina Heaphy from Hatherleigh and Jo Rush from Chagford all successfully completed a course designed for those working and managing a range of supported housing projects.
The three graduates all work for West Devon Homes and the course is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Run over a 12-month period, the class of 2003 was drawn from resident wardens, administrators and managers across Devon and Cornwall.
Director of resources for West Devon Homes Neil Williams, who was on hand to award the certificates to all the graduates, said West Devon Homes was very proud that three more of its staff had successfully attained this qualification, which was testament to their dedication and hard work.
West Devon Homes in conjunction with Cornwall's Centre for Sheltered Housing Studies intends to run the course for another group of students starting this Autumn.
