A TAVISTOCK girl who is in a modelling competition to find Grid Girls for a modelling academy and Thundersports GB is appealing for votes on the website which will decide her fate.
Grace Vanstone, who is studying public relations at Falmouth, entered the competition, run by The Kerri Parker Academy, in the hope of being one of twelve girls chosen to be Grid Girls at Snetterton race course in July — and take part in a photoshoot for the Grid Girls official 2010 calendar.
One girl will also be crowned Miss Thundersport GB and be on the front cover.
Grace said she needed the public's support to secure a place, as the result is by public vote.
'Coming from a small town area it's very hard competing against girls from big cities,' she said.

Three girls will be chosen from the first group, and there will be a further three groups over the coming months to complete the Grid Girls line-up.
