Oke Argyle U12s 2 Honiton U12s 1 BOTH teams got off to a great start, but Argyle were the ones who had the most chances. Some great goalkeeping from Honiton kept the goals out as both teams battled well and the score remained 0-0 at the interval. In the second half, after a goalmouth scramble, Ashley Doidge scored for Okehampton. Honiton replied within minutes, levelling the score. A penalty for Argyle was then awarded but the shot just went over the bar. Argyle's determination paid off when Toby Gosling scored their second. Argyle defenders worked hard for the last ten minutes with some great play from the midfielders to take a well deserved win. Argyle player of the match: Reuben Forester. Lipson United U12s 2 Horrabridge U12s 3 LIPSON started the game at a fast pace and dominated play for the first 20 minutes and found themselves two goals up thanks to a double strike from Jimmy Gorniax. The final part of the half belonged to Horrabridge who played some superb football and got themselves back in the game with two fine goals. The first came after Dan Dawes made a great run and linked up well with Billy Rawlinson who played Aaron Johnson in, who coolly slotted home from 20 yards. The second came five minutes later, again good work from Dawes and Rawlinson enabled Johnson to thunder home and level the scores. Lipson dominated much of the second half but Horrabridge, well marshalled at the back by Jack Northam and Will Glanville and midfielders Josh Birch and Joe Dyke working hard, kept Lipson at bay. The winner came five minutes from time after Billy Rawlinson was fouled in the box and a penalty given. Rawlinson himself took it and scored in the bottom corner. Player of the match: Aaron Johnson.
