CHURCHES in Okehampton are again uniting to bring a message of goodwill to the homes of the town this Christmas. A special card which simply reads: ?Jesus light and life to all he brings? and containing a list of all the Okehampton Church services during the festive season, is being delivered this week. The town has been divided into segments and each of the town?s churches has taken responsibility to deliver in an area. Chairman of Christians together in Okehampton, the Rev Cllr Mike Davies, said: ?Christmas can be a lonely time for many. Each one of us has a community responsibility to watch out for those who are lonely, sick, or frail. The Christmas card is just a small token but the local churches are here to serve the community and to maintain the true meaning of Christmas.? l The following Christmas services are taking place in Okehampton: Sunday, December 19: 10.30am ?
