KAYLEIGH Ball is our grand-daughter and we are so proud of her doing the walk for charity around Burrator Reservoir.

She was very seriously injured in a car accident on October 31 2005 and was in hospital in Bristol for over three months. She had two fractures in her spine, leaving her unable to stand, walk, talk, even swallow.

With her courage and wonderful treatment and care she has come a long, long way. Due to her injuries, running is not something she can do very much, also, walking a long distance will be a bit harder for her than most, but we are sure she will do it.

Good luck to her and Toby Samuel and everyone else who does the walk for CLIC.
