AT the Tavistock Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club on Saturday a cheque for £300 was presented to Neil Hunnisett for the Cardiomyopathy Society by the club's ladies' captain Valerie Southern. The sum was raised by the ladies' section during the past 12 months.

Mr Hunnisett, who is a heart failure specialist nurse, gave an interesting talk to members on the work that he does and that of the Cardiomyopathy Society.
