INSTEAD of the usual sports and sideshows, Meldon fun day will take a different format this year and it involves a German ball game and a barbecue. The ?Boseln and BBQ? is scheduled for July 23 and the Boseln Trail will begin at 3.30pm from the village hall. The game involves teams of people throwing balls along a trail. There is no charge but participants are being asked to bring drinks and food for the barbecue on the return to the hall.
