Tavistock 25 Okehampton 0 IN blustery conditions at Okehampton, Tavistock continued their good form after last week?s 52 nil victory over OPM II with their sixth win out of seven games. Led by John Wakem and fellow veterans Martyn Credicott and the returned Jim Jefferies, they drew first blood through Ben Neal who, after good play, ran 50 metres, leaving Okehampton standing. Conversion was missed, kicking into a strong wind Okehampton missed three penalties. With the strong wind behind them Tavistock?s evergreen full-back Credicott and young Bridgewater kicked the ball deep putting pressure on Okehampton defence. Next score came from good scrummaging near the Okehampton line for No 8 to drive over. Conversion was successful. Tavistock turned the screw a bit more and scored their third try through scrum half G Pascoe. Conversion was kicked. Then Credicott put the final nail in the coffin with three penalties.
