THE winner of division one of the Yelverton Golf Club's ladies' Stableford and the Murray Rose Bowl was Di Reardon with 38 points; the runner-up was Bente Bergan with 36.

In division two the winner, and runner-up in the Murray Rose Bowl, was Dene Drown with 36pts' division two runner-up was Glenda Thompson, on 36.

In the Yelverton mixed autumn open first with 43pts was Steve Bryant and Dene Drown (Yelverton), who won the Carnival Cup — a cup first won in 1928 which is presented to the Yelverton pair with the best score.

Second on 41 were Steve Daniels and Bente Bergan (Yelverton) while in third place, also with 41, were David Dan and Margaret Jeffs (Stover); best visitor on 39 points  were Mr and Mrs Wallace  (Saunton).
