HATHERLEIGH Gardening Club will be 'going for gold' at tonight's meeting (Thursday).

Naomi Lawrence will entertain the group with a lively talk, 'Going for Gold'— a talk about the trials and tribulations of trying to win a gold medal at the Chelsea Flower Show. The talk centres on her efforts to win gold with her first show garden at the event.

The talk takes place at 7.30pm in Old Schools.

The gardening club is also planning its plant sale on Saturday, May 4 with a wide range of plants, so there is plenty of chance for green-fingered people to find a bargain. For club information call Susan Gill on 01837 810893.
