THERE was an upbeat feel to Horrabridge Primary School last Friday when all of the pupils took part in drumming workshops.

The five workshops, lasting three-quarters of an hour each, were run by a member of Devon-based group Drum Crazy, and at the end of the day around 100 parents and friends enjoyed a roof-lifting impromptu performance by all five groups.

A school spokesman said the drummer was impressed with the children?s level of co-ordination.
