OKEHAMPTON dominated the first half doing everything right ? defending well and creating chances from mid-field resulting in many attempts on goal.
The Ilfracombe keeper was hard to beat but Chris Holland?s powerful shot opened the scoring.
Then Carl Poynton ran three quarters of the pitch, around the opposition and scored to make it 0-2 at half-time.
Ilfracombe applied much pressure after the interval and were rewarded with a goal. Fortunately, Okehampton soon replied to make it 1-3.
They then went on to clean up with Rory Honeychurch?s long shot, and Holland taped one in for his hat-trick.
