THE next evening session in Tavistock for West Devon Citizens Advice Bureau will be in a new, rather different, location for one night only. Due to essential health and safety works the bureau will be closed for two weeks from November 16. Mandy Kenyon, development officer for West Devon CAB, said: 'Because the bureau has to be closed we felt that it was vital to maintain our November evening session, so we approached the landlord of the Ordulph Arms, just across the road from our Bureau and he kindly allowed us to use part of the function room.'. Appointments for 'Advice at the Pub', which will take place on Thursday November 23, can be made by calling 01837 52105. The advice given can be on a whole range of subjects including benefits, debt, housing , employment and relationships. Other appointments will be available throughout the closure at Bere Alston Medical Centre, and Wesley House, Princetown as well as extra telephone services operating from the Okehampton Bureau on 01837 52574.
