A POOL of mud and giant inflatables were just some of the obstacles tackled by 14 members of Tavistock Young Farmers’ Club, when they took part in the Race for Life 5k Pretty Muddy event.
It took the girls between half an hour and 50 minutes each to complete the course with its ten obstacles, on what turned out to be a very warm day.
The muddy and plucky girls were (pictured above) Hannah Cole, Kelly Hughes, Sally Blowey, Jo Abel, Ellen Abel, Bethany Abel, Emma Cole, Emily Friend, Elizabeth Heale, Nicole Ball, Jas Sanders, Tash Jackson, Kim Upcott and Melissa Bickell who all deserve a pat on the back for their effort.
So far they have raised an impressive £870 all together for Cancer Research UK and are still collecting.
