OKEHAMPTON Starlight Ladies are at it again, organising their third charity ball in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Last year, the ladies completed a 26.2 mile moonwalk around London to raise over £4,600 for Breast Cancer Research. Nine ladies of the fundraising group trained hard for the event and they also held a coffee and shop morning in March, which raised £731 for their cause.

They are now hard at work organising their third glitz and glamour ball, themed 'A Night at the Oscars'. Over the last few years the ladies have raised more than £16,000 through the events.
