FOR many years my family has been delighted by the excellent facility which Okehampton has had in its cinema. Other towns have not had this but the people who run Okehampton?s cinema have carried on.
They carried on through all the years when cinema was not popular, night after night. They have given pleasure to many people of all ages at a very reasonable price, with seats with leg room, with a smile and in our local town.
I understand that now the manager is ill and I realise that I have no way of conveying my best wishes as I do not know the names of the people who have kept this service going for so many years.
Through your pages please may I express my best wishes for speedy recovery to good health to the manager, and I am sure I speak for many. My thanks for what you have done over the years.
