ARTISTS and craftspersons are invited to enter a competition to interpret the theme 'Wistman's Wood'. The competition is being run by the Dartmoor Arts and Crafts Show and the title can be interpreted in any manner and in any materials. The last date for entries to be received is August 1 — entries will be returned to participants after judging on August 2. The prizes are craft vouchers for £200 for the winners of the adult female and adult male categories and art or craft lessons to the value of £200 for the winner of the children under 16 section. This year's Arts and Crafts Show takes place at Princetown Primary School between August 9 and 18 with approximately 50 craft stands on show.
