FIVE local girls have recently succeeded in their Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.

Rebecca Crawford, Eve Halliday, Mara Biggs, Katie Salt and Elena Binns are all pupils of the Rosemary Woodwark School of Dance and all attend classes at Chagford.

Distinctions went to Rebecca Crawford (Grade Six), Eve Halliday (Grade Three) and Mara Biggs (Grade Two).

At a recent school's award ceremony, Katie Salt and Elena Binns shared the endeavour award for a high standard of work performed throughout the last year in ballet and modern dance theatre.
