WINKLEIGH youngster Frances Lausen will make her debut for Devon?s U-15 cricket XI against Dorset this Saturday after scoring 76 not out last weekend to continue the County U-13?s side?s unbeaten run. Frances, 12, will be joined in the team by fellow Hatherleigh cricket club player Clara Nielson, 13. Last Sunday, Frances?s big score helped Devon U-13s to record a score of 218 to beat the Isle of Wight by 105 runs. Both girls have performed well in their games for Devon this summer, resulting in the call-up to the more senior level.
