PRINCETOWN pre-school has been given money to buy vital play equipment.
The Tenant Panel of West Devon Homes recently presented a cheque for £539.65 to the group at the request of the Princetown Tenants and Residents Association.
Its vice chair Liz Steele said: 'We are very pleased that the Tenant Panel of West Devon Homes has recognised the needs of the children, hopefully we can now look forward to linking into other projects in the area which will benefit the community at Princetown.'
The play group which provides pre-school education for three to five-year-olds in and around the Princetown area will use the donation to provide vital play equipment for the young children.
Play group leader Belinda Webber said: 'The donation will make all the difference to the children who attend the play group.'
The next meeting of the Princetown Tenants and Residents Association will be on Thursday February 1 at the Plume of Feathers pub in Princetown, starting at 7pm; anyone living in the area is welcome to attend.
