Newly arrived on these shores from his travels, Christopher Sinclair — an energetic and adventurous Englishman — receives a strange summons and returns to Marvin Grange, a remote estate on a lonely moor to unravel the mystery of a haunting that is driving his cousin’s wife mad . . .
