WHATEVER the weather on Saturday, March 22, Princetown residents and visitors alike will be donning their fancy dress outfits for Sport Relief.

Participants will venture along the one-mile route from Lord's Café to the Dartmoor Prison and back, all in aid of charity, starting at noon.

Anyone who wishes to take part just needs to bring £1 on the day and walk, run, skip, or hop along the one mile route.

Wendy Stone, president of the WI which organised the event, said: 'It all depends on the weather how many people take part, but we at the WI will take part regardless.'

She added that hopefully the Princetown Fire Brigade will be taking part, unless they are called to an emergency.
