THE Chatterbox Mums and Dads group in Bere Alston will be running a six session 'Let's Cook' course from September.
The group (pictured above), run by volunteers, funded by Tavistock Children's Centre and held in Hope Cottage, is for parents with toddlers and is now held weekly on Friday afternoons.
Children are cared for at a creche.
Recent sessions have included one with a baby signer, Lisa Townsend, and it is hoped to run a four week course from August if there is sufficient take up.
There has also been a cookery workshop with parents cooking homemade burgers and a basic first aid course.
The drop-in area is still available when workshops are running.
The September cookery course will be run by Tavistock WI and starts on September 26.
There will be a fun day in Bere Alston School on August 15 from 1 to 4pm, organised by the Tavistock Children's Centre to launch the new services in the area.
