A DISPLAY team of German Shepherd dogs will be demonstrating their skills at a fundraising event near Bridestowe next month. The Reliant GSD display team are coming all the way from Scarborough in Yorkshire to stage a display as part of a family dog show taking place at the Fox and Hounds in Bridestowe. The six dog team, which is run by Eddie Richardson, will jump fire hoops and demonstrate protection and agility work and obedience as part of their display. As well as the dog show, there will also be stalls, a raffle, bouncy castle and refreshments at the event which starts at 10am on Sunday, April 9. All proceeds will go to the GSD 2000 Rescue charity which helps rehome ill-treated German Shepherds. The entry fee will be £2.50 for adults and 50p for children.
