A HUGE thank you to all those good people who gave generously to Cancer Research UK's recent street collection and 'pennies on the wall' and, particularly, to those who stood collecting, at times in rain, thunder and lightning!

Over £1,220 was collected — an excellent total for which our local committee is most grateful.
