THE biggest noses in Comic Relief history are now being sold exclusively in West Devon Oxfam shops. Okehampton's Oxfam Shop in Fore Street, Tavistock's Oxfam Books and Music Shop in North Street and the Oxfam Shop in Market Street will be selling the big smelly nose balls, which are actually furry air fresheners, along with red noses and red nose pin badges. The nose also comes with a set of stickers and a Chocpix square of Fair Trade chocolate. At least 60p from every £1 will go towards Comic Relief projects. Comic Relief Red Nose Day was launched in 1985 and has raised £425 million, which helps towards changing the lives of vulnerable people in the UK and in Africa. Besides supporting Comic Relief and Fair Trade, Oxfam is keen to make young people aware of its work worldwide. Three trained teachers based at Oxfam Books and Music are available to speak at schools about the aims and scope of Oxfam's work, tel: 01822 616273.
