DURING the recent flagday collection the sum of £1,081 was raised for Talking Newspapers for the blind thanks to the generosity of the people of Tavistock.
This enables us to distribute free of charge a weekly tape of news and features to the blind and partially sighted in the area.
We would also like to thank the manager and staff of Safeways for yet again allowing us to collect on their premises.
