JUGGLING, unicycling and goodie bags were on the agenda when a special recycling roadshow rolled into the centre of Okehampton recently.
But the fun was aimed at highlighting a serious message when the Don?t Let Devon Go to Waste roadshow took its position in Waitrose car park.
One of the high spots of the day, which concentrates on the serious need to recycle household and garden rubbish, is the visit by Elfic the Jester and his Recycle on a Unicycle show.
Elfic will be entertaining shoppers with his spectacular and hilarious show of juggling, unicycling, magic, balancing tricks and more.
Cllr Paul Ridgers, chairman of West Devon Council?s environment committee, said: ?If everyone in Devon recycles as much as they possibly can and makes full use of existing facilities, the benefits to our countryside and to future generations will be enormous.?
Members of the borough?s recycling team plus county council officers will provide information about local services at the roadshow.
They will also give away goodie bags including colouring books, pens, pencils, stickers and cotton reusable shopping bags.
