BRIDESTOWE'S cricketers and members of the Lyd Valley Riding Club are joining forces to organise a fun ride around the northern fringes of Dartmoor on Sunday, October 6.

A substantial portion of the profits will be donated to Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The ride will start at Leawood, Bridestowe, between 10am and noon, with an entry fee of £15 for adults and £5 for children.

There will be a barbecue available at the finish and riders will be able to select their route from the full 15-mile route or an eight-mile alternative.
