THE 12th Lamerton Duck Race and village fete was held last Sunday in glorious weather.

Seven hundred and fifty ducks were released into the stream in Broady field and the Rev Andy Atkins presented the prizes for the lucky winners.

Various stalls and cream teas raised funds for the village hall, church, school, WI, and other individual causes.

There was plenty to keep the children occupied, in particular the assault course and the water slide saw children doing what they do best — getting competitive, not to mention wet and dirty!

The village hall committee wish to thank everyone that helped make the day such a resounding success.
