TAVISTOCK Community Sports Centre has unveiled its programme designed to keep local children occupied and active throughout the June half-term holiday.

The centre, located on the Tavistock College site, promises a fun filled week of activities allowing young people the chance to take part in their favourite sports and discover new ones.

Barry Mountstevens, sports centre manager, said: 'Activities will be led by experienced, qualified instructors, offering a great range of games, including athletics, basketball, archery, fencing, swimming, dance and softball.

'There will also be fun creative activities like art and drama.'

The holiday programme is registered with Ofsted, meaning parents in receipt of working tax credit can claim a discount of up to 80%. Sodexho and Don't Stop Me Now vouchers are accepted, ensuring access for all.
