A TOTAL of 46 runners took part in the Hatherleigh Fun Run. The event, started by Hatherleigh mayor Gary Bush, finished in the town square where a barbecue was held. Medals for first and second place were awarded by Cllr Bush. Results: Girls Under 5: 1, Holly Anderson; 2, Shania Croom; 3 Lilly Bater. Girls 8 - 10: 1, Summer Stangroom; 2, Hannah Stephens; 3, Clare Munn. Boys 8 - 10: 1, Josh Punchard; 2, Christopher Meardon; 3 Toby Gostling. Girls 11 - 14: 1, Louise Kilsby; 2, Gemma Chapman; 3, Martha Fawcett. Boys 11 - 14: 1, William Kivell; 2, Danny Allen; 3, Josh Bush. Females 15 plus: 1, Jan Gilmour; 2, Jane Jones; 3, Emily Winter.
