EGG-CELENT treats will be on offer at the Easter Fun Day in Horrabridge on Saturday, March 30.

Being held at Horrabridge School Hall from 1pm to 4pm, visitors can take part in a variety of activities, including listening to Easter stories in a teepee, a bouncy castle, face painting, Hook a Duck games, face painting, a craft table as well as many other attractions.

There will also be a number of competitions, including a Best Easter Bonnet competition, Best Easter Fancy Dress and Best Easter drawing or picture.

Anyone who would like to take part in these competitions, which cost 50p per entry, can just bring their prepared items with them on the day. Winners will get a special treat.

The event is to raise funds for new equipment for the breakfast and after-school clubs at the primary. The children have already asked if they could buy some new books with some of the money raised.

Organisers are still in need of prizes for the tombola stall, such as cans of food, sweets and other treats, teddy bears, soft toys and children's books.

If anyone can help with any donations, please leave them either in the Horrabridge after-school club room or with a member of staff at The Old School.

Raffle tickets will be on sale. Some of the prizes donated include a cream tea for four at the Moorland Garden Hotel as well as a children's book token and other items.
