JOIN the Tamar Valley AONB team this autumn for the fifth annual Tamar Trail Festival, filled with more than 40 events and activities to enjoy throughout the valley.

Have some spooky fun, spot an otter, join a night vision adventure, explore the great estates or cycle along the new section of Drake's Trail.

Many events are free of charge, but the festival is expected to be popular, so interested people are being advised to book their places early this half-term.

Organiser Becki Lumbis, from the Tamar Valley AONB team, said: 'The festival, now in its fifth year, provides a great opportunity to explore the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There really is something for everyone, so come and join us.'

The Tamar Trail Festival will be held from Saturday, October 27 to Wednesday ,October 31. The Calstock Jazz and Blues Festival and the National Trust's Festival of Walks coincide with this year's festival.
